MINI2 Charity Ball 2005
The first MINI2 Charity Ball took place on Saturday 26 February 2005, held at the Northampton Moat House Hotel.
The team behind the first Charity Ball more than made up for a lack of experience with a great deal of effort and determination. The result was an unequivocal success! With the remarkable support of the MINI community, the ball raised around £5,000 for good causes.
MINI2 Charity Ball 2005 was in aid of Whizz-Kidz and Woodlands School in Harrow, a special school for children with learning difficulties.
MINI2 Charity Ball 2006
For MINI2 Charity Ball 2006 we moved North to Shrigley Hall Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Cheshire. On the basis of feedback from our first event, we also shuffled the date a little to Saturday 8th April. The idea being the weather should be quite fresh and spring like. As it turned out, it rained. A lot.
Despite the weather, and a disappointing performance on behalf of the hotel, the 2006 MINI2 Charity Ball was again a great success and increased our total amount raised for good causes to over £10,000! Showing that it takes more than a bit of rain, and half a day pulling apart a hotel, to dampen the generosity and good nature of our supporters and MINI2 members!

MINI2 Charity Ball 2007
Always taking on board the feedback of those who attend the ball, we decided to move back to the Midlands and Northampton again for the third Charity Ball. This time a new venue, the Northampton Marriott Hotel, was to be the base for our festivities.
For the 2007 MINI2 Charity Ball the decision was made to have a theme for the very first time, the obvious choice was James Bond, and so it was.
So on May 12th 2007 the third MINI2 Charity Ball took place, and aided by the extra party mood the James Bond theme helped create, the excellent food and increasingly assured organisation, the 2007 MINI2 Charity Ball was regarded by all concerned as a great success.
